Conferencing as a Cultural Experience

Röttger Salfeldt
Variety at its best
The newly constructed upper hull of the former granary now houses the auditorium seating up to 400 persons. A curved and partly transparent ceiling sends a flood of indirect warm daylight throughout the room. (The room can be darkened completely closing the black-out curtains.) Two balconies are located at end of the hall and enable guests to step out during breaks. The room has air-conditioning and an integrated projector and stage lighting as well as a sound system. Moreover, it can easily be subdivided into two smaller assembly-halls.
This hall can also serve as a venue for exhibitions and fairs, as a concert-hall or cinema, as a ball room, for gala-dinners and receptions. Matter-of-fact athmosphere or charged with emotions - this hall does it all!

Dorothea Erxleben
ideal for meetings
Modern-styled and day-lit through wall-high windows from both courtyards, this room encourages focussed and creative thinking. In the back there is a hidden space for the preparation of presentations, workshops, role-plays and little performances. The lobby right in front of the "Dorothea Erxleben" as well as both courtyards can be used for catering-breaks or little retreats for group-work preparation.
Dorothea Christiane Erxleben was the first female medical doctor in Germany. She was born in Quedlinburg in 1715 and practised here for many years.

Lobby & Gallery
Flexible right from the start
The lobby welcomes guests and offers ample space for registration and documentation, catering during coffee-breaks, and –last not least – the essential lobby chats. In Summer, the two courtyards afford additional space for activities and catering in open air.
The glassed-in gallery on the first floor is the connection between the modern and the baroque part of the Palais. Poster exhibitions can be hosted here as well as catering arrangements with a view into both courtyards.

The historic music room
Glamorous baroque for prestigious seminars, meetings & workshops

Conference Room with a suite of 7 further partly adjoining rooms.
